Bio

Downstream Pictures is a television and film production company based in Saskatoon, Canada.

In addition to producing servicing television series and specials, documentaries, commercials, music videos, and corporate/industrial videos, Downstream Pictures operates fully-equipped EFP production packages, with legacy Standard Definition as well as current High Definition and Digital Cinema cameras

For 4K and 2K acquisition, we have the RED Epic Dragon & Scarlet Dragon, as well as Sony Burano, F-55, FX9, FX3, and FS7 Digital Cinematography cameras.

For our High Definition clients, our primary cameras are the Arri Alexa Classic, Sony CineAlta,F800 & PDW-700 XDCAM, complete with colour viewfinders, onboard downconversion, cache/timelapse, and frame accumulator options.

And for the ultimate in portability and affordability, there’s the CineAlta PMW-200 & EX-1 XDCAM-HD, compact 1/2″ CMOS cameras, which record 1920×1080 to SxS memory cards.

On the film side, we have an Arri BL4 35mm motion picture camera package.

Support gear includes a Stanton Triangle Jib complete with dutch head and remote wheels for film or video, Steadicam, dollies, and a mini-jib.
