2025 Board of Directors Election Slate

At the 2025 ScreenSask Annual General Meeting, being held July 24, 2025, members in good standing will vote to elect representatives to the 2025-2026 Board of Directors in the following three categories:

  • Producer: 3 seats open for election.
    An individual employed by a production company or working independently, with a core business of screen based media production that is eligible for and accesses Creative Saskatchewan funds. 
  • Service Provider: 1 seat open for election.
    An individual in industry roles such as equipment suppliers, production facilities, post facilities, animation, audio, audio post.
  • Open Seat: 2 seats open for election.
    An individual elected from the general membership of the Association.

Elected members of the ScreenSask Board of Directors serve two year terms.

Members of the Board of Directors who are appointed by IATSE, DGC and ACTRA as their representatives serve indeterminate terms at the pleasure of the Union or Guild they represent.

About ScreenSask

ScreenSask is a provincial, member-based non-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer board of directors. Established in 1986, SMPIA (operating today as ScreenSask) represents all personnel related to the making and exhibiting of media productions from beginners to veteran professionals. ScreenSask’s job is to be a catalyst for change, to facilitate interaction between people working in these media, and to help to create an environment that provides opportunities for the production, promotion and appreciation of media production in Saskatchewan.
